Abstract
Human beings have a capacity for creativity and expression in the arts. In the expression unit, we use existing artworks to learn how to analyze, critique, and discuss works. It is through this analysis that we bring students to a greater understanding of the power and purpose of the arts. Then, students explore a variety of mediums in an attempt to express something only possible through the form itself.
