Abstract
There is a little set of stairs that seem to go nowhere out behind one of the soccer fields at the park. In the middle of that summer, I was sitting on these steps looking down at the jogging track that circles the park and provides a kind of buffer between the park proper and the actual woods and neighborhoods beyond its borders.
