Abstract
We were supposed to be in our weekly Bible Study. We were supposed to be learning about Jesus. We were supposed to be surrounded by other thirteen-year-olds dressed like adults holding Bibles and waiting patiently for the weekly lesson to end. We were supposed to be finishing off the snacks that were always in the larger room before we went into the smaller rooms for the lesson of the week.
