Abstract
This chapter will examine the phenomenon of Islamophobia through the social relations of race, gender, and class. As the first half of the previous chapter set out to define what Islamophobia is, this chapter will spell out why and how Islamophobia emerges in the post-9/11 context from a critical race perspective.
