Abstract
“Welcome everyone to the launch of the World Women’s League of Basketball and its inaugural 10–10 tournament.” A deep male voice boomed into the darkened stadium. Strobe lights slowly swept across the space, packed with celebrities, politicians, fashionistas and media, coming to a stop illuminating a raised platform that extended most of the length of the basketball court.
