Abstract
This chapter addresses the issue of plurality and complexity in contemporary, globalized society through the lens of discourse theory (Laclau & Mouffe, 1985; Mouffe, 1993/2005; Laclau, 2005). It explains plurality in discourse theoretical terms of difference and antagonism.
