Abstract
I want to move beyond critical theory in its abstractness and focus on something that you can do, being active teachers and learners, not passive. The voices of the critical theorists ought to prod us to pursue connections between what troubles us and what distracts us, to see the world behind the images that stream before us keeping Virginia Woolf’s words in “The Waves” in the quiet above.
