Abstract

Back to the game – you’re at the plate. Will the next pitch be a fastball? Is this pitch in the strike zone and are you going to swing? Now you’re in the field. Should you be satisfied with a force at second or go for a double play? Do you try to pick off the runner on first and risk a balk? Decisions, decisions! Taking action at the plate or in the field requires you to process evidence and make a decision.
