Abstract
As was described in the previous chapter, I started the Knowledge Cultivation (KC) project with the simple intent of raising the profile of high-quality primary research to inform the issues we faced and enhance decision making efficacy across the district. I started by writing a weekly research brief I called Professional Reading Series in which I drew out a few quotations, main ideas, and/or my own thoughts about the research. While I did not always make it explicit, most of the articles linked to work that was ongoing or, based on student data, would likely be upcoming in the district.
