“Making the Jump”

Abstract

As I write this book and reflect upon my efforts to cultivate research use in our school district, I am struck by the irony that the project was not at all informed by the salient literature in the field. To be truthful, it did not occur to me that there might be research about research mobilisation processes that could be useful and/or provide guidance. I read some articles about the importance of using research in practice.
