Abstract

Paige was assigned to tutor freshman Kayla Washington. On the first day of the program, the tutors were scheduled to meet the kids in the cafeteria before school, to have breakfast together and get to know each other. Paige learned that these kids were dropped off forty-five minutes before classes began each day, because most were on special meal plans that allowed for a free or nearly free breakfast.
