Abstract
Eighteen years have passed since we moved to Revere Street and replaced the yellows and avocado-greens of the small Cape Cod with blues and browns and flowered wallpaper, drapes and sconces. I am so ready for another change. I want everything painted simply white. Everything. And I want all the bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances and even the washing machine and dryer pristine white. I know I cannot bring back the large house I left in Clintonville with its white walls, but I can delete color and create whiteness.
