Abstract
We have taken a novel approach to this final section of Building Bridges: Rethinking Literacy Teacher Education in a Digital Era. Rather than simply providing a summary of the previous 12 chapters, we have used these chapters as data. Since the authors’ own research and experience as teacher educators was a large part of the basis for their respective positions and arguments, they provided us with a rich set of evidence. Given their extensive experience in the complex world of teacher education they have much to contribute.
