Abstract

Developing stronger cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills is increasingly a goal of education systems in many countries worldwide. In this rapidly changing world, students are confronted more and more with unfamiliar situations in their daily life where rote learning fails to serve them, and which demand problem solving skills.
