Abstract

Founded on ideology, power is seen as an instrument of society control and of achieving intended effects, by manipulating people. The discursive practice of absolute power could be seen in opposition to the discursive practice of art, because this power does not recognize the dialogue proposed by art and its invitation to negotiate meaning.
