Walking Alongside Parents

Carson’s Story

  • Chapter
Living as Mapmakers

Abstract

In order to begin conversations with families and parents each year, I send home a note asking them to tell me about their child, things I should know about him or her, what their hopes and dreams are for their child and their family. I extend a first invitation to meet and visit as well as spend time in the classroom.
