Abstract
Identity comes from the home, a place of learning before a child enters the school system. At home, family stories are developed, shared, and treasured, representing who we are and from where we come. Family stories are, “those lived and told experiences shaped and shared across generations in families” (Huber, Graham, Orr,& Reid, 2012, p. 80).
