Abstract
As both a child and grandchild of elementary school teachers, the world of education has always been very familiar to me. I was never far from the possibility of following in the footsteps of my mother or grandmother. My sisters and I spent countless summer and weekend afternoons playing school with our old wooden desks pulled into each other’s bedrooms.
