Abstract

Every day for the next week, Tash looked for Harold on the way to and from work, hoping to apologize. Twice she brought donuts but there was no sign of him. He’s been gone a long time. Even when they run him off, he’s usually not gone this long. I wonder if he’s okay, she thought. I shouldn’t have been such a bitch.
