Abstract

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (see Figure 1) has experienced tension between tradition and Westernization over the past three decades. Still, Saudi Arabia has managed to maintain a balance between conservative Islamic values, cultural norms, and Westernization. Today, the Saudi education system in all grades provides suitable instructional curricula in diverse fields of arts and sciences, while Islamic instruction remains at its core.
