Abstract

One of the most significant pedagogical changes to elementary school education has been the widespread implementation of inclusive education (Artiles & Kozleski, 2007). The main tenet of inclusive education is that all students are educated in the same classroom, and are all expected to have the same opportunities to participate in all learning activities and experiences to the best of their abilities (Artiles & Kozleski, 2007).
