Abstract

This chapter describes participants’ conceptualizations of differences, including ethnicity, race, language, culture, disability, and autism. Throughout their narratives, participants expressed discourses of denying differences, colour blindness, White discourse, Othering, notions of normalcy, and deficit and deficient based discourses.
