Abstract
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz AlSaud’s recent passing makes it both more and less difficult for me to complete this chapter about the importance of a writing persona in student writing. Like so many people around the world, I’m mourning King Abdullah’s passing, yet so heartened by the King’s example that I’m inspired to persist.
