Abstract
I remember my hand going up–but for what?—and the applause and approbation, a roomful of strangers coaxing me forward. I could’ve said no. I did say no. I thought I said no, but I didn’t say no. I was molested! I wasn’t molested. I was persuaded by appeals to my vanity.
