While in the 1990s and 2000s, policy scientificity 2.0 challenged notions of ‘policy science’ supporting 1.0, policy scientificity 2.0 replaced one epistemology with another that ushered forth a perpetual war that contributes to what we call policy scientificity 3.0. Further, we have argued that an instrumental and technorational characterization of education policy retains a stranglehold on education policy makers and educational researchers.
