Abstract

In this chapter, I discuss critical theory and critical social theory in terms of their implications for research and teaching in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).I attempt to focus on practical implications of the critical conversation for those interested in critical pedagogy, research, and good teaching in TEFL.
