Abstract

One year, shortly after her high school classes began, I mentioned to another faculty member that Lauren was in my class. Lauren has cerebral palsy and was virtually wheelchair bound. She had short dark hair, and large dark eyes. The teacher I spoke with immediately began to comment about Lauren’s wonderfully positive attitude and her strong commitment to learning.
