Abstract
Psychologist, educator and author of numerous publications on teaching, learning and creativity Clark Moustakas (1966) sensed at an early age that a radical wrong was being perpetrated on him as a learner. “Authoritarian demands were violating [his] right to choose, to maintain [his] personal uniqueness and distinctiveness” (Moustakas, 1977, p. 86).
