Abstract
According to Paulo Freire, during the teaching-learning process, the teacher and learner roles blur as each one gives to the other. As the roles blur, teacher and learner are liberated. In his book, Pedagogy of the Oppressed (2012), Paulo Freire discusses the role freedom can play in education.
