Abstract

For years I facilitated a group called ‘Honouring the Mother’ for women who want to explore their image and the issues of motherhood with other women – issues such as isolation, self-esteem, self-talk, self-care, and community. The women in this group loved making art and not having to cleanup. They got to be with other women without their children interrupting them and talk, play and create art.
