Abstract
The practice of mindfulness and art therapy are complementary paths on the journey of self-actualization. Practicing mindfulness meditation and creating art mindfully help guide us, calm the storm around our journey, and provide openings to access our inner strength and wisdom. The poems Meditating and Just Sitting talk about the practice of meditation.
