Supporting students’ in their development of global citizenship (GC) is recognised as an integral part of higher education (Aneas & Montané, 2009; Brigham, 2011; Shiel, 2007; Thanosawan & Laws, 2013; Zahabioun, Yousefy, Yarmohammadian, & Keshtiaray, 2013).
