Abstract

There is a remarkable parallel between transformative learning and storytelling. Transformative learning is about making meaning of experiences and revising perspectives when experiences are encountered that are discrepant with previous assumptions and beliefs. Storytelling is a way of making meaning of experiences in all cultures and across all times.
