Abstract
In this edited volume, we recounted gruesome details of the innocent bloodshed of a young Black male, who perished in the grips of neighborhood watchman-turned vigilante. On that fateful winter night, George Zimmerman was armed with a semiautomatic pistol, shielded from consequence under the safeguard the legal system of the State of Florida, emboldened by the culture of male dominance, and empowered by the social structure upholding White supremacy.
