Abstract
The use of crosscutting concepts in teaching is one of the major recommendations found in the U.S. National Research Council’s (2011) A Framework for K-12 Science Education (Framework) and Achieve’s (2013) Next Generation Science Standard (NGSS) (see also) developed from the Framework.
