Abstract
Higher education institutions (HEIs) are faced with ever-increasing levels of scrutiny and demands from students, other stakeholders and the public for access to reliable and transparent information. Students desire information about qualification levels and the composition of study programmes, the nature of the learning experience they can expect, and the range of academic and social activities available to them.
