Abstract

As a naïve White female from the South, I had silenced a subconscious curiosity about the segregation of my hometown high schools for years. But things were about to change. This curiosity was sparked and bubbled to the surface during a job interview with the Director of TROY, a public disciplinary alternative school for juvenile delinquents and truants.
