Abstract
At a conference, Debbie asked the audience of aspiring and practicing teacher educators and administrators, “Have you ever thought about teaching disruptive students and . . . ?” Immediately, before she could complete the rest of the question, everyone in the room answered, “No!” To her, this reaction succinctly illustrated the urgency of the problem of classroom discipline.
