Abstract

I am a prekindergarten teacher, and I spoke the above words to a group of parents and students at our first family day of the year in September. A part of the prekindergarten program in my province includes family engagement. I try to involve and engage families as much as I can in the classroom and school. One of the strategies I use to engage parents is family days and evenings.
