Abstract
There are only about a half dozen books published exclusively on the life and work of Myles Horton. Countless more, however, include entries on and references to Horton’s profound influence on 20th century democracy and education in the U.S. Yet there is still more that could and should be published about Horton’s legacy, particularly its transcendence into 21st century American education and society.
