Abstract
Offering the best educational system in the world, students come to the United States from virtually every country to fulfill their educational aspirations. These are, however, some of the most difficult times American higher education has ever faced. Each day we are deluged with negative stories about the economy. There are no new funds in state coffers, and the federal government is quickly back-pedaling from its support of higher education as the nation seeks sources for massive budget cuts.
