Abstract
The XIVth Congress of the World Council of Comparative Education Societies met in Istanbul in June, 2010. The theme of the Congress was “Bordering, Re-bordering and New Possibilities in Education and Society”. There were fourteen thematic groups with papers addressing various aspects of the over-arching theme; many papers were concerned with the impact of economics and education on development.
