Abstract
As today’s families undergo amazing and radical changes in the way in which people live their lives, the role of grandparents is also shifting and changing (Power, 1993). Social scientists believe families are adapting to the technological, social, moral and economic changes in the wider society (Baker, 1984). As our world becomes even faster paced, families are forced to look to others to help care for the needs of the family.
