Abstract
As grandparents generally live longer they play an even more important role in the lives of their grandchildren. This means grandparents are passing along family history, traditional skills and offering important advice and guidance to their grandchildren. Grandparents are also able to spend time in delightful recreational activities with their grandchildren.
