Abstract

In his texts, Kierkegaard repeatedly turns to how he was brought up by his father. Even though he loved his father ever so much, he is very critical toward the fact that he, as a child, was “rigorously and earnestly brought up in Christianity” (Kierkegaard, 1859/1998, p. 79).
