Abstract

Our purpose for this book is to explore the servant-leadership role through the voiced and observed work of Catholic high school principals and to consider how the leadership ideals they talk about fit into their daily professional lives. What does this servant-leadership look like in the life of a Catholic high school principal? We were interested to find out how six school principals made sense, for themselves, of their servant-leadership roles and then to convey their insights and our syntheses with a wider audience.
