Abstract

The numerous responsibilities of educational leaders often make it difficult to maintain priorities consistent with a distinct philosophical approach - especially one that requires meaningful involvement with a variety of stakeholders. Certainly, it is easier to make a decision unilaterally than to seek and weigh input from colleagues, students, and community members. Despite the challenges of collaboration, educational leaders must strive to act in ways that reflect the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and ethical behavior. Throughout this text, case stories are presented in order to challenge simplistic notions of right and wrong.
