Abstract
Institutions of higher education are facing problems in meeting employment, utilizing new technology while staying globally competitive for faculty and research. I believe that educational leaders, teachers, and policy makers have to respond to the provision of individualized mass education with a greater sense of quality assurance and at a lower financial cost. The university’s role in the nation’s economy is to increase its ability to transfer research to industry, generate new inventions and patents.
