Abstract

Many people argue that too much data about the injustices in our world make us numb to the realities of those situations in people’s lives. Wasserman’s editorial cartoon about the Israeli occupation of Palestine makes this point2: However, we do need to know the meaning of the numbers describing our realities in order to deepen our understandings of our world.
