Advocating Public Education in Indonesia

The Role of Organizational Processes and Critical Reflection within E-net for Justice

  • Chapter
Campaigning for “Education for All”

Abstract

E-net for Justice was established on May 14, 2004, by thirty Indonesian Civil Society Organizations concerned with the situation of education in the country. The coalition is an emergent movement still within its formative state and therefore, the analysis of its impact included in this chapter needs to be interpreted taking into account its youth. E-net focuses on a broad range of education levels, from early development through to adult education. Its main objective is building and strengthening a social network to advocate critical, innovative, and transformative education.
